Il Conte Villa Prandone
The accomplished expression of the Piceno, between sea and Apennines.
Estate websiteOur story.
- Family estate run by the De Angelis family
- Native Piceno grapes: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Pecorino, Passerina
- Vineyards on the hills of Monteprandone, between the Adriatic and the Sibillini
Founded in 1953, Il Conte Villa Prandone is today one of the finest addresses of the southern Marche, on the hills of Monteprandone, in the heart of the Piceno.
Here the slopes catch the fragrant breezes of the Adriatic and mingle with the gentle currents of the Sibillini Mountains. This meeting, on a clay terroir, gives each variety unique aromas and an ideal microclimate.
The De Angelis family passionately grows the native Marche grapes: Pecorino and Passerina for the whites, Montepulciano and Sangiovese for the reds. Every label is the pure expression of Piceno's winemaking traditions, from Rosso Piceno DOC to Offida Pecorino.
A modern signature faithful to tradition, which has raised the Marche among Italy's regions that matter, regularly awarded by the specialised press.
