The extra virgin olive oil of Umbria, ranked year after year among the world's finest.
Estate websiteOur story.
- Family olive groves south of Perugia, overlooking Abruzzo
- Hand-harvesting and cold extraction, in harmony with nature
- Direct lineage: five generations of the same family
The Viola family has been producing extra virgin olive oil for nearly 150 years in central Italy, south of Perugia, on the Umbrian slopes that overlook Abruzzo. A family estate born in the mid-19th century and passed down, generation after generation, to Marco Viola who runs it today.
Everything is done in respect of nature and in symbiosis with it: groves farmed with sustainable practices, hand-harvesting at optimal ripeness, cold extraction at the family mill to preserve polyphenols and primary aromas.
Viola olive oil ranks year after year among the finest in the world, and has once again earned a perfect 100 points at Flos Olei 2026 — a recognition that confirms the estate's place at the very summit of Italian oil-making.
